Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2026
RackedUp (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides fitness tracking software, including mobile applications and optional self-hosted or operated backend services. This policy explains what information the RackedUp apps and connected services may collect, how it is used, and your choices.
1. Who this applies to
You use RackedUp with a server address (API) configured in the app. Depending on your setup, that server may be operated by you, your organization, or a host you choose. This policy describes the categories of data the RackedUp product is designed to process so you can complete store disclosures (for example, Google Play’s Data safety section) accurately.
2. Information we collect
Account and sign-in (Google)
- When you sign in with Google, we receive identifiers and profile details that Google provides with your consent, such as your Google account email, name, and profile photo URL.
- We use this information to create and secure your account and to display your profile in the app.
Fitness and health-related data you enter
- Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, timers, notes, and related training data.
- Body measurements and progress metrics you choose to log (for example weight, body composition, circumferences).
- Profile fields you optionally provide in the app (for example display name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, goals, timezone, and preferences).
Technical and operational data
- Data necessary to operate sync and authentication (for example access tokens stored securely on your device, server timestamps).
- Where enabled, device permissions such as notifications for in-app features like rest timers (processed on your device as allowed by your OS).
- On some platforms, optional integrations (for example Apple Health or Google Fit) only if you explicitly enable them; such data is governed by those platforms’ policies and your settings.
3. How we use information
- To provide core features: logging workouts, analytics inside the app, sync across your devices, and account management.
- To maintain security and integrity of your account and our services.
- To comply with applicable law where required.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health and workout data for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing
- Google processes sign-in according to Google’s policies when you choose “Sign in with Google.”
- Service providers involved in hosting or operating the deployment you connect to (for example infrastructure or database providers) may process data only as needed to provide that service.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is retained for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion or export of your data according to the processes offered by the operator of the RackedUp server you use.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the service, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) between the app and the API when configured with TLS, and secure storage of credentials on the device where supported by the platform.
7. Children
RackedUp is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us so we can delete it.
8. International users
If you use a server in a different country than your own, your information may be processed in that country or other countries where the operator or its providers maintain facilities, subject to applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
